"Borgo Pignano was a great setting for our Tuscany trip with Running Treks. Our beautiful, spacious villa provided a comfortable home base for our group runs, yoga and daily excursions. Not only are the grounds and main villa fun to explore, but the sunset view overlooking the saltwater pool and rolling hills was breathtaking.
Lenny, our amazing chef, added to the character of the villa with his personality and delicious, satisfying meals made with ingredients he'd handpicked on the grounds each day. I loved his traditional local fare, like minestrone soup and pasta alfredo, and I would travel back to Italy just for his not-so-traditional gourmet veggie burger!
I also loved the ambiance and architecture of the centuries-old walled cities, like San Gimignano and Voterra, that we visited on our daily excursions.
This was a great trip overall, but my two favorite parts were splashing into the sea after a run in the pine woods at Cecina Mare and making friends with the other members of this trip group. This adventure was just the right balance of activity and relaxation for me!"

"The Running Treks trip to Tuscany was amazing. Each day started off with either Yoga or Running, then we went on a daily excursion to sight-see, and in the afternoon we returned to do a bit of Running or Yoga (depending on what we did in the morning). The meals were fabulous and nutritious. The villa was an ideal location - exactly what I pictured for a quintessential Tuscan retreat."
